The Galilee Garden is a ministry of Brenham Presbyterian Church answering God's call to help others. All produce from the garden is donated to our neighbors in need, through local food distribution ministries.

The Blood Center of Brazos Valley
Brenham Presbyterian Church hosts four community blood drives each year in the Fellowship Hall.

Bread Partners of Washington County
Galilee Garden produce is distributed weekly and other food items are collected for distribution to families in need of assistance at various locations in Washington County. Bins for donated nonperishable food items are in the Blinn Room. We also host a “Souper Bowl of Caring” each year to collect food items and cash donations. Ken Newton, Volunteer coordinator

Brenham State Supported Living Center
Brenham Presbyterian Church offers support with an “Angel Tree” at Christmas to collect gifts for approximately 25 residents.


The National Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) Association for Children, together with its state and local member programs, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home and have the opportunity to thrive.

C.U.P.S. Comunidades Unidas Pro Salud A nonprofit assisting communities in northeastern Mexico and the Rio Grande Valley to improve health and education for residents. We organize drives for collections including a “Back to School” school supply drive and an all year drive for medical aides such as wheel chairs, walkers and other items for those who have mobility challenges. We also collect “over the counter” medical supplies, diapers, coats which are collected throughout the year. Linda Parsons, Coordinator

A nonprofit with Global first responders to emergencies, epidemics, and natural disasters.


Faith Mission
Faith Mission is an ecumenical Christian-based nonprofit organization created to be a central clearinghouse for assistance to the homeless and working poor in Washington and surrounding counties. Our church provides a Christmas celebration every year for families served by Faith Mission.

Hope Rising A nonprofit dedicated to the front-line rescue, assessment, therapy, education, rehabilitation and restoration for minors rescued from sexual trafficking and abuse.

Hospice Brazos Valley
HBV is a nonprofit, community based hospice organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of central Texas residents who have a terminal or chronic illness.

Oak Rest Cemetery is a historic cemetery with Presbyterian history and is managed by a board of directors who manage plot sales, standards for internment, site use, maintenance of the cemetery and its financial assets. It was an outreach project of Brenham Presbyterian Church with a goal to restore the use of the cemetery and to establish Oak Rest Cemetery Association as a separate nonprofit organization.

Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services Provides Christ-centered care and support to children and families in need across Texas, Louisiana, and Missouri. Their belief is that the most powerful way to help children is by strengthening their families. This is accomplished by living into a philosophy of care which is to be family centered, strength focused and goal driven. Brenham Presbyterian Church donates directly to this ministry and also helps by holding church wide drives for donations and gifts supporting approximately 40 children with our “Back to School Shoe Drive” and an “Angel Tree” at Christmas. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

Brenham Presbyterian Church supports this worldwide ministry through annual donations. These donations are sent to PDA and are used for both US and worldwide natural disasters.


Presbyterian World Missions

Brenham Presbyterian Church currently lends support to Presbyterian missionaries in Zambia; Charles and Melissa Johnson.

United Campus Ministries
Offers opportunities for Christian Fellowship, worship and service for students at Texas A&M (College Station) and Blinn College (Brenham).

Washington County Healthy Living Senior Center

A nonprofit Senior activity center with efforts to include: teaching good health and nutritional habits, creating interactions between its senior citizens and community, providing transportation, lunches, exercise and higher education classes.
